Challenge & Objective

Android developers waste significant time navigating deep into system menus just to toggle ADB debugging or developer modes. DevToggle solves this by cleanly leveraging the Shizuku API to grant native WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permissions, allowing users to control system parameters via custom notification shade tiles with zero background battery drain.

Architecture & Key Decisions

Engineered with strict separation of concerns, modular domain logic, and sub-second render performance. The interface embraces modern reactive state management, asynchronous data loading, and hardware-accelerated fluid transitions for a tactile feel.

Core Capabilities

Instant Quick Settings Toggles for Developer Mode, USB ADB, and Wireless ADB
Native integration via Shizuku API eliminating the need for root access
Programmable Custom Group Toggles to trigger multiple system settings simultaneously
Privacy-first architecture featuring zero internet permissions and no background services
